Anwar Tarawneh’s 26-year-old pilot husband Muath, seems to have joined the list of victim horribly killed by ISIS. A video of his execution has been released and the images which have yet to be authenticated, show Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh wearing an orange jumpsuit while standing inside a cage, waiting to be burnt alive.
Muath al-Kasaesbeh was captured in December after his plane crashed in Raqqa, Syria. Awnar was seen comforted by relatives as she awaited by news of her husband’s fate following the crash.
According to the BBC, al-Kaseasbeh was killed a month ago, but images from it were released online today, while Anwar was pictured holding a photo of her husband as she joined students during a rally calling for his release, at Jordan University in Amman.
The pilot’s barbaric execution comes days after the Islamic extremist group, released a video of the beheading of Japanese journalist Kenji Goto.
The Islamic State militants threatened to kill both men last week.
