Robyn Krauthammer
Robyn Krauthammer is the loving and devoted wife of Charles Krauthammer –the veteran political analyst for Fox News and Pulitzer Prize–winning writer.
Robyn’s husband for over four decades recently announced in a heartbreaking open letter that he is dying from cancer and as a consequence he only has weeks to live.
Born March 13, 1950; the NY native is a former physician turned commentator and writer –who according to Rupert Murdoch himself, has been –a giant of journalism and a key part of the channel’s success.
Charles Krauthammer graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1975 despite a first-year diving accident that left him a quadriplegic –he went onto become a pioneer in psychiatric research. It was in the late 70’s –after having served as chief psychiatry resident at Massachusetts General Hospital, that he veered first into policy, and then into journalism by taking a job in the Carter administration.
Along the way in his highly successful, career he became a married fella. He and wife Robyn have been married for decades, having tied the knot in 1974.
Robyn Krauthammer is an artist, however she began her career as a lawyer and later stopped practicing law in order to focus on her artistic work. Together they share one child son, Daniel Krauthammer.
Robyn Krauthammer was born Robyn Trethewey; she is a painter and sculptor who co-founded the Pro Musica Hebraica and currently serves as its CEO. According to its website, she was was born and educated in Australia, where she received her LL.B. degree in 1968. She further studied law at St. Anne’s College, Oxford.
She came to the U.S. in the early 70’s and began pursuing her true passion at the Corcoran School of Art, then at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Since then, she has exhibited professionally at Foxhall Gallery in Washington. Her work is also found in numerous distinguished private and corporate collections. Along with her husband she’s been a pioneer in the promotion of Jewish art music.
