Dan Reidy, who was born on April 10, 1958, believes that his wife, Dianne is a sweet, level headed, wonderful woman of God. He says he’s very proud of her. As you may recall, on Wednesday, after the house had finished voting, she took to the podium and began shouting a speech.
Shortly after Dianne gained access to the podium, she was escorted out of the House and taken to a local hospital for mental evaluation
Dan believes his wife has no mental problems, in spite of her outburst. He has said in many interviews that for two weeks she’d been waking up in the middle of the night. She said it was the Holy Spirit waking her up to prepare her to do God’s work, to deliver a message to the House Chamber. He also denied that Diane drinks, smokes or is on any medication.
Dan, a former associate pastor of a Christian church in Florida from 2002 to 2006, is a self-described Pentecostal Christian. After Clearwater, the family moved to Falls Church, Virginia, where they lived for a couple of years, until 2008. The family now lives in Fort Washington, Maryland.
Dianne has been released from the hospital, and it is rumored that she will soon be back to work. Meanwhile, Dan will continue to support his wife. He believes that she is doing God’s work.
