Lynne Heller
Lynne Heller is the longtime wife of U.S. Senator Dean Heller –currently serving as the senior senator from Nevada.
Lynne’s husband was born Dean Arthur Heller on May 10, 1960; prior to serving in the Senate, Dean was the Representative for Nevada’s Second Congressional District and also served as Nevada’s Secretary of State and in the Nevada State Assembly representing Carson City. He was sworn in to the United States Senate in 2011.
He grew up in Carson City, Nevada and began working for his father’s auto shop. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Southern California and worked as a stockbroker and as a broker/trader on the Pacific Stock Exchange before moving back to Carson City, Nevada.
He and his wife, Lynne have been married for over three decades. Together the couple are the proud parents of four adult children and are grandparents to at least three grandchildren.
The Hellers are the parents to Hilary, Harris, Drew, and Emmy. Their son Harris Heller is married to Kenzie Nimo and the couple are both musicians.
Lynne Heller has not only been supportive of her husband’s career but has also been politically active. Earlier this year she served as keynote speaker of the Carson City Republican Women meeting.
Lynne Heller –a retired teacher –is a member of the Carson City Republican Women. The group contributes to Advocates, CASA, PAWS Up for Veterans and AWAKEN and volunteer a large number of hours to community involvement at the Carson City Senior Center and the Carson City Republican headquarters.
Her husband is a millionaire and much of the couple’s wealth is through Lynne Heller’s share of a family partnership that has invested in California government bonds.
Lynne Heller and Dean are currently based in Smith Valley, Nevada. The two enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hunting, and horse packing.
