Meet Denise Muggli, she is the sister of retired NFL player Michael Strahan’s ex-wife Jean Muggli. Making Denise the player’s former sister-in-law, get the connection? Ok, so in recent reports the New York Giants former player has been accused of secretly filming Denise while undressing.
According to reports online, prior to Strahan’s engagement to Murphy (which has now been called off), he was married for 6 years to Jean Muggli. During their nasty divorce battle, Muggli testified to the Superior Court:
“I had found video equipment in my bedroom. He had been taping my sister Denise undressing.”
Denisee and her sister are from North Dakota. Her sister Jean, married Strahan in 1999 after they met at a Manhattan spa. Jean worked at the Manhattan skin-care salon and sparks flew when the former couple met.
Denise is the aunt of the couple’s twin daughters Sophia and Isabella Strahan born in 2004. In March 2005 everything came crashing down, Jean called police claiming he had threatened to beat her. He countered by filing for divorce, claiming he had confronted her after she withdrew $3.3 million from their bank accounts.
The now 42-year-old who –currently is a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday, and he also serves as co-host on the television morning talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael alongside Kelly Ripa –allegedly tried to pay up “hush money” to silence the sisters.
Jean also testified that Strahan wired her $30,000 to keep quiet about it. In court papers, she claimed he had cheated on her, refused to sleep with her and had secretly recorded her sister undressing while she stayed in their home.
Jean received $15.3 million in the divorce settlement, has never publicly spoken about the incident.
Strahan talked about their divorce two year ago denying everything.

Denise currently resides in Montclair, NJ with her fiancé Nader Tavakoli. Tavakoli is chairman and chief executive officer of EagleRock Capital Management, a private investment firm based in New York City. She is the stepmother to Tavakoli’s daughter, Mariel.
