Broadcast Journalist and Education Advocate Jane Stoddard Williams is also known for being the lovely wife of journalist Brian Williams, better known for  his work as the anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News.

She and her hubby are both known faces in the industry. The host and producer of Bloomberg EDU,  the only weekly national radio program devoted solely to covering education in America; is also the mom of the couple’s two children.

She was previously a producer of the PBS series “Inside Story” and was executive producer of “Panorama,” Washington, DC’s longest-running daily news and public affairs program. Their daughter Allison is an actress best known for her role on the HBO series Girls. They also have a son named Douglas.

A veteran education and children’s advocate, she serves as board chair of Horizons National, a nonprofit educational and enrichment organization serving low-income students around the country. She is a member of the board of New York’s PBS station WNET, where she chairs the Education Committee. She is an advisor to NBC News’ “Education Nation.”
