Janice Crystal
Janice Crystal is the wife of the talented actor, producer, director and nine-time Academy Award host Billy Crystal. Janice and Billy Crystal has been married for more than four decades and has two beautiful daughters together.
Janice Crystal’s husband was born William Edward Crystal on March 14, 1948 in New York City one of three sons born to Jack and Helen(nee. Gabler) Crystal. Billy’s older brothers are Richard “Rip” Crystal and Joel Crystal. Billy was 15 when his dad Mr. Jack Crystal passed away at the age of 54 from a heart attack after losing his business around 1963, and his wife Helen died in 2001, his alma mater NYU’s Helen Crystal Scholarship fund was named after his late mother.
Crystal graduated in 1965 from Long Beach High School, he attended Marshall University in Virginia, but after he and Janice started dating the decided not to come back to Virginia and enrolled at Nassau Community College with Janice, he then transferred to NYU where he graduated with a BFA in 1970.
His first acting job was in 1976 at the t.v shows, All in the Family. The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast. The Improv and also Catch a Rising Star in 1977 made his big screen debut as David in SST: Death Flight. Throughout his amazing career, Billy Crystal has starred in over 35 films and 40 t.v shows, some of his most memorable roles have been in When Harry Met Sally along Meg Ryan in 1989, City Slickers in 1991, Forget Paris in 1995, My Giant, Midnight Train to Moscow and Analyze This.
Billy Crystal and the love of his life, his beloved wife Janice Crystal got married in 1970 and had two daughters together, Jennifer Amie Crystal was born on January 26, 1973, and Lindsay A. Crystal on October 27, 1977.
Janice was born Janice Louise Goldfinger on March 16, 1949; both of her daughters followed their father’s steps in entertainment; Lindsay is a producer and Jennifer Crystal now Jennifer Foley married to Michael Foley her college sweetheart since 2000 is an actress. Through Jennifer, Janice and Billy are now grandparents.
