Jocelyn Elise Crowley

Jocelyn Elise Crowley is the adoring and devoted wife of Fox News political commentator, Alan Colmes. Her husband known for the Alan Colmes show and for being one half of the Hannity & Colmes political debate, died aged 66.

Jocelyn’s husband was born Alan Samuel Colmes on September 24, 1950. The New York City native was the host of the Alan Colmes radio show. His program with Hannity ended in 2009.

Alongside his broadcasting career, Colmes also ran the Liberaland blog and contributed to AOL News. He is the author of two books: Red, White & Liberal: How Left Is Right and Right Is Wrong  and Thank the Liberals for Saving America.

He is survived by his beloved wife of several years, Jocelyn Elise Crowley. She was once invited to her husband’s show to discuss her work. Meet her below.

Dr. Jocelyn Elise Crowley is an Arizona native. She was born May 5, 1970. She has one sister, Monica Crowley –a former Fox News commentator and GOP foreign policy adviser.

Jocelyn Elise Crowley has also worked on public policy issues. She is a professor at Rutgers University. She teaches at Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.

According to her profile, she holds a B.A., from Cornell University; a masters from Georgetown University and a Ph.D., from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

The blonde is also an Affiliated Faculty Member of the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, and a Senior Faculty Fellow at the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers.

Jocelyn Elise Crowley is also a book author, she wrote “Mothers Unite! Organizing for Workplace Flexibility and the Transformation of Family Life.” Her work has been published by Cornell University Press.

She has also written extensively on the topic of family law and public policy, including her books The Politics of Child Support in America (2003; Cambridge University Press) and Defiant Dads: Fathers’ Rights Activists in America (2008; Cornell University Press).

Jocelyn Elise Crowley and Alan Colmes did not have any children. Her husband died after a brief illness, however no official cause of death has been confirmed.
