Scott Phillips
Scott Phillips is the longtime husband of film and TV actress, Julie Bowen –these days best known for playing Claire Dunphy on Modern Family.
Scott’s wife was born, Julie Bowen Luetkemeyer on March 3, 1970; the Maryland native has also appeared on other TV shows including Ed where she played Carol Vassey from 2000 until 2004; she also gave life to Denise Bauer on Boston Legal and Sarah Shepard on Lost.
The 2X Prime Time Emmy Award winner previously landed numerous roles on films such as Happy Gilmore, Multiplicity, Venus and Mars, Joe Somebody, Kids in America, Sex and Death 101 among others. The blonde has been portraying the role of Claire Dunphy on the hit sitcom Modern Family, since 2009.
She has been happily married to hubby Scott Philips since 2004. Since then, the couple has welcomed three children. Their son, Oliver was born in 2007 and they had twin sons John and Gustav in 2009.
44-year-old Scott Phillips is a real estate investor and software developer, meaning the lovely Julie Bowen is the famous half. However, over the years the two have graced red carpets together. According to People, the pair most recently walked a red carpet together in September 2016 at the Los Angeles LGBT Center 47th Anniversary Gala Vanguard Awards in West Hollywood.
According to his LinkedIn, he attended The Buckley School and Hamilton College graduating with a BA, Art/Computer Science.
In the late 90’s he Founded and ran InterCLUBS, Inc. one of the first online Group Networking Sites. The company was acquired in 1999. He was also a Director of Engineering at NursingHands, Inc. from its inception to its sale in 2003.
He served as Consultant at Jobson Publishing and most recently worked at Phillips Interactive –where he consulted for a variety of clients, primarily in Los Angeles, helping them develop internet based applications.
