Actress Kristi Gibson’s ex-man, singer Bret Michael is unstoppable! The 51-year-old Rocker who suffers from type 1 Diabetes, has been in and out of hospitals at least six-times in a matter of just a few days!
Kristi’s ex and father of her two children, had two stents put in his body in the past week according to an announcement made by his longtime guitarist and friend Pete Evick.
Evick explained his current condition and said it was honorable to him how the singer “always brings up the concern for the fans first before addressing his condition.”
Should Kristi be concern about Bret, the father of her children?
Kristi was born Kristi Lynn Gibson on December 25, 1970, she hails from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The 43-year-old is also known by her nickname “Gibby.”
Gibson has been Michael’s on-again, off-again girlfriend of 18 years. She is also the mother of his two daughters. Kristi gave birth to her first child Raine Sychak in 2000 and in 2005, second daughter Jorja Sychak was born.
Her acting career never really took off, she is known for 1999 documentary for High Tension, Low Budget (The Making of a Letter from Death Row). According to her IMDb page, in 2003, Kristi took part in Bret’s music video “Raine.”
She then has appeared on reality TV as herself. The former couple was never married but they were very close.
In 2010 they filmed “Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It.” While filming the finale of the VH1 reality docu-series, he popped the question to Kristi, she said yes. They never walked down the isle.
Two years later, in 2012 they announced they had split. Many werent surprised about the split; Rock of Love Season 2 winner Ambre Lake, who briefly dated the famous rock star, said that it’s tough being with a rock star. After they split she said “with his tour line-up, there was no time for a relationship.”
Could it be Kristi’s same problem?
There is no doubt Kristi will always be a big part of his life, should she step in and tell Bret to slow down to take better care of himself?
