Meet Krystina Butel, the woman who will give you a whole new perspective on plastic surgery! 30-year-old Butel has spent 15 years and £130,000 on surgery to make her look like a holiday caricature!
Butel has gone so far into her fixation to look like a cartoon that has taken extreme measures, including having her nipples tattooed as hearts to make it a reality.
At age 15 her and while on a two-week holiday in Ibiza she had her a caricature of herself drawn and ever since has spent her life trying to emulate the fictitious image.
She is originally from from Wakefield, Yorkshire; she describes herslef as a playful tomboy who showed no interest in her appearance. She is the only girl and has three brothers. Oddly enough she grew up to be a hairstylist opening her own hairdressing salon at age 17. But being in the beautician business wasn’t enough.
She spent the fortune on a host of cosmetic surgeries, including Botox, semi-permanent make-up and five boob jobs increasing her from a 32D to a 36K.
She told the Sun
When I saw the picture for the first time, I was jealous of it,’ she said told the Sun.
‘The cartoon woman was glamorous – she was everything I wanted to be.’
In her early teens, Krystina left school early and got a job at a local salon as a hairdresser and began to pay more attention to her looks.
Speaking about her drawing experience she revealed she had no idea what kind of cartoon would she get. She explained it was a completely impulsive decision when an old man on a busy Ibiza street called for her and her friend and asked if they wanted to get their caricature done.
She is currently in a relationship with David Scriven and even thought most of the time she gets negative comment on her appearance her man is her biggest supporter.
She has become quite the media sensation, Speaking to Marvin and Rochelle Humes on This Morning, Krystina said:
“I loved it. I don’t know what he saw – I wasn’t dressed like that!
“I loved the look of it and everything.
“It was old school – Jessica Rabbit, cartoon, over the top – the fakeness of it.”
She said: “I’ve been chasing that dream – that idea. It is a goal to go for.
“It started off with extra make up and hair dyes. It crept in and crept in until surgery a few years later.”
She had her first surgical procedure to alter her body at age seventeen. And has no plans to stop now.
What do you think, is her addiction out of control?
