James Dolphin
James Dolphin is according to records online the husband of Mrs. Renate Schoeder Dolphin; she is one of the many women who signed a letter supporting Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, little did she know that her name was used by Kavanaugh and several of his high school friends in their yearbook, the reference “Renate Alumnus” is extremely offensive.
According to Mr. Kavanaugh and his friends, Renate Alumnus is a reference to innocent dates, however, a poem found on his classmate Michael Walsh’s page suggested otherwise.
“You need a date / and it’s getting late / so don’t hesitate / to call Renate.”
Renate had no idea about the term Renate Alumnus and even less about that disgusting poem.
“I learned about these yearbook pages only a few days ago,” Mrs. Dolphin said in a statement to the Times. “I don’t know what ‘Renate Alumnus’ actually means; can’t begin to comprehend what goes through the minds of 17-year-old boys who write such things, but the insinuation is horrible, hurtful and simply untrue. I pray their daughters are never treated this way. I will have no further comment.”
James Dolphin’s wife Renate said she and Brett Kavanaugh met each other while they were in high school, she attended at Catholic Girls’ school nearby. They became friends but never dated.
Kavanaugh’s lawyer claimed Renate and her client went out once and shared a kiss, but nothing more
“He was friends with Renate Dolphin in high school. He admired her very much then, and he admires her to this day.”“Judge Kavanaugh and Ms. Dolphin attended one high school event together and shared a brief kiss good night following that event,” the statement filed by his lawyer reads.“They had no other such encounter. The language from Judge Kavanaugh’s high school yearbook refers to the fact that he and Ms. Dolphin attended that one high school event together and nothing else.”
“I think Brett must have me confused with someone else, because I never kissed him.”
