Mossimo Giannulli’s wife actress Lori Loughlin initially married Michael R. Burns in 1989; Mr. Burns is the investment banker and vice president of Lionsgate who worked for 18 years in Wall Street before joining Shearson/ American Express, he joined the Board of Directors of Lionsgate in 1999 and became Vice Chairman of the studio a year later.
Lori and Mr. Burns divorced in 1996 and remarry Law & Order actress Pell James in 2006.
For her part, Lori Loughlin met Mossimo Giannulli in 1995; they dated for two years before they tied the knot on November 25, 1997, in Newport Beach.

Mossimo Giannulli was born Massimo Giannulli on June 4, 1963, in California. He is the eldest son of Nancy a homemaker and Gene Giannulli an architect.
Mossimo was in the first grade when a teacher talked him into changing his name to Mossimo. Mossimo studied architecture and business at the University of Southern California, but he dropped out after three years.
After quitting college in 1987, he asked his dad for a loan ($100.000) to start selling t-shirts and three-panel shorts on his garage with the help of his then-girlfriend Chris Clausen; within a year sales reached one million.

Mossimo and Chris got married that year and five years later their son Gianni was born, the marriage didn’t last and eventually divorce.
