After three years together, what a shame to remember the split of one of the most beloved couples in T.V, radio and well whatever entrepreneurism task Mr. Ryan Seacrest is undertaking. We all heard about Julianne and Ryan’s break up due to their “busy schedules” back in March.
We all could have seen them getting all the way to the altar but as shocking as their break up was, today we get to find out who are the new flames in the ex-couple’s lives. Now we’ve heard about Ryan’s rumored new girl, Dominique Piek but now Julianne is catching up with Academy award winner director Ari Sandel!
What do we know about him? He was born and raised in sunny California between Tarzana and Calabasas in L.A. Ari went to Taft High School for a year and then graduated from Calabasas High, he settled his mind to study Media Arts at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Finally earning his Directing M.F.A. from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television in 2004 but had started his career in the entertainment world way before in 1999.
Back then Sandel created and hosted the comedic T.V segment “The Traveler” for the FX Channel’s “The X Show.” Ari wrote, directed, and hosted the segment for two seasons. In 2006 he gained notoriety when he took home the Oscar for best short film on his “West Bank Story” musical comedy rendition.
Most recently it was reported back in early May Sandel was on board to direct “The DUFF” for CBS Films. Sandel also worked with the Wonderland team on the second season of Warner Bros.’ popular web series “Aim High,” which starred Jackson Rathbone and Aimee Teegarden. He also directed Vince Vaughn’s 2006 concert documentary “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights – Hollywood to the Heartland.”
Sandel is represented by WME and Principato-Young Entertainment.
It would seem there a few things Seacrest and Sandel have in common right! The 24-year-old hot dancer likes her man within the bizz. Hough was spotted enjoying a cozy dinner with director/writer Sandel at Nobu in Los Angeles, and while they smooch at the taste of raw fish… we don’t think they were talking about any project opportunities.
Sandel was previously linked to Kelly Carrington.
