Beth Shak is the poker pro and newlywed woman married to Fox News senior correspondent, Rick Leventhal. Accoridng to reports the couple found their inner teens and eloped to Vegas to tied the knot earlier this month.
A report on PageSix says, 46-year-old Beth married Leventhal at 12:10 a.m. on June 9. Aside of poker, Beth Shak is also known for her outstanding $1 million shoe collection that includes 1,200 pairs of designer heels.
The mom of three looked fantastic. She’s made 3 World Series of Poker final tables and has thirteen tournament cashes to her name, placing her amongst the top percentile of the Women’s All Time Money List.
The self described, entrepreneur, designer, shoe connoisseur ,shoe lover, pokerpro, lover of animals Most IMPORTANTLY a Philanthropist, walked the isle to Rick Leventhal at Graceland Wedding Chapel after meeting back in February during a poker benefit that Shak hosted for the Jed Foundation.
Beth Shak used to be married to Hedge fund manager, Daniel Shak. The couple divorced in 2009. Three years later in 2012, it was reported Shak sued Beth after it was revealed she kept a shoe collection worth $million a secret during their divorce settlement.
Beth Shak and Daniel Shak have two children together, 20-year-old daughter Lindy and 18-year-old son, Austin. She is also the mother of an elder son, Cary.
Following her divorce, Beth Shak was left to be a millionaire. Daniel, who is also a professional poker player, paid her a reported $3.25m so he could stay in their Manhattan apartment, as well as an undisclosed amount for their other assets.
In recent years she concentrated on promoting herself as a designer shoe collector, and launched a shoe website Shoes R Forever, as well as appearing in newspapers and on TV shows.
Before tying the knot for the second time to Rick Leventhal, she was in a relationship with Ben Cook.
56-year-old Rick Leventhal, is a Kentucky native, he attended the American University and has been a Fox News Channel correspondent in New York, since 1997. He was also previously married to, Penny Daniels, with whom he fathered two daughters; Veronica and Shoshana Leventhal.
According to her website, Beth Shak is a native of the suburbs of Philadelphia, where she developed a love for fashion at an early age. She owned a vintage and couture private clothing business for ten years. While Shak has no formal training in design, she did study art and graphic design before leaving college to have her first son, and grew up always sketching and drawing.
She began playing poker by logging on to Full Tilt Poker and using “play money” until she felt comfortable enough to start playing with real money. She has been playing professionally since 2004.
