Bill Murray
Bill Murray the actor, comedian, and writer; will singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during Game 3 of the World Series at Wrigley Field, the Cubs have announced.
The 66-year-old actor who is known for movie classics such as ‘Meatballs,’ ‘Caddyshack’ and ‘Ghostbusters’ is also a life-long Cubs fan who recently said, he would rather be at a Cubs game than receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Murray was born William James Murray on September 21, 1950 in Evanston, Illinois. He relocated to New York where he eventually ended up making a name for himself due to his popular ‘Saturday Night Live’ characters.
The comedy icon went on to star in a number of films.
Wives
Murray has been married twice. His first wife is Margaret “Mickey” Kelley. They tied the knot in 1981 and welcomed two sons during their marriage, Homer and Luke. The couple called it quits in 1994.
Then in 1997 he wedded second wife, Jennifer Butler. Murray cheated on Kelly with Butler. From his second marriage he is the father of four sons: Jackson, Cal, Cooper and Lincoln.
The couple divorced in 2008 after 11-years of marriage. Butler filed in divorce docs accusing Murray of domestic violence, infidelity, and addictions to sex, marijuana and alcohol.
Children
Murray is the father of six sons from two different marriages. His first son is Homer Murray, born in 1982 from his first marriage to Margaret Kelly. Homer is a bar owner.
Father and son were got together recently, after Bill joined Homer for the opening night of Brooklyn bistro 21 Greenpoint; re-opening after a revamp, under the co-ownership of his son Homer Murray.
His second son from his first marriage is Luke Murray born in 1985. Luke (pictured below) works as an assistant basketball coach.
From his second marriage to Jennifer Butler, Murray is the father of Caleb Murray who was born January 11, 1993.
Jackson Murray was born October 6, 1995; Cooper born January 27, 1997 and lastly, Lincoln Murray born May 30, 2001.
Girlfriend
Last year, Murray was romantically linked to indie singer, Jenny Lewis.
Jenny gained recognition as the fiery vocalist of the indie rock band Rilo Kiley, which was formed with her friends Pierre De Reeder, Dave Rock and then-boyfriend Blake Sennett in 1998.
Warner Bros. Music, signed the band for the release of their 2004 album More Adventurous. After the band called it quits, Jenny decided to launch her solo career.
Jenny who is also a former child actor, was first linked to Bill after a report from Page Six said that Jenny had arrived late to meet Bill at his “Rock the Kasbah” premiere party in New York on Oct. 20 before getting on stage with him during a performance of The Clash’s “Rock the Casbah.”
