On January 31st, Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered face down and unresponsive in a bathtub, now almost 6-months later the 22-year-old has died according to a family representative. She died on July 26 surrounded by her family.
It was her boyfriend Nick Gordon and a male friend who discovered Brown unconscious in her townhome.

1. She was the daughter of two super stars.
Many choose between believing Bobbi Kristina was either doomed or blessed from the get go; she was the only daughter of super stars, the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown. Her famous mother gave birth to her on March 4, 1993 in Livingston, New Jersey.
2. She had many famous relatives.
Her relatives includes maternal grandmother Cissy Houston of The Drinkard Singers. Her mother’s cousins are Dee Dee Warwick; Dionne Warwick, mother of Damon Elliott; and Leontyne Price. Her uncle is Gary Garland, her mother’s half-brother. Through her father, Brown had five half-siblings: Landon, La’Princia, Robert “Bobby” Jr., Cassius and Bodhi. Her godmother is CeCe Winans.
3. Her parents fame kept her in the public eye.
After dating for about 3-years, her parents married on July 18, 1992. Her childhood has always been described by the media as difficult due to her parents’ drug problems, the presence of paparazzi, and domestic violence issues.
4. She made her first public appearance at age two.
She was placed in the spotlight in 1994, when Whitney Houston accepted an American Music Award while holding her onstage.
5. The heiress became a reality TV personality.
In 2005, a young Bobbi Kristina appeared on the reality show Being Bobby Brown, the series lasted only one season and showed viewers the life of R&B singer Bobby Brown and his then-wife, singer Whitney Houston, and their family.
6. Her parents divorced in 2007.
After 15-years of marriage, the super couple went their separate ways in 2007, by then Bobbi Kristina was only 14. When Brown’s parents divorced, her mother was awarded custody but her father still had visitation rights.
7. She performed with her mother on stage.
Mother and daughter performed together on ABC’s “Good Morning America” in 2009, singing “My Love Is Your Love” in Central Park.
8. Her mother died under similar circumstances in 2012.
Whitney Houston tragically died on February 11, 2012 in an accidental drowning in a bathtub, a coroner ruled, with heart disease and cocaine use named as contributing factors –leaving behind 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina who was named her mother’s sole beneficiary.
9. In 2012 she began dating Nick Gordon.
After Houston’s death Brown became romantically involved with Nick Gordon, who was taken in by Houston when he was 12 years old and who was raised alongside Bobbi Kristina. That same year she made her acting debut on Tyler Perry’s TBS show “For Better or Worse.”
10. Her family never approved of her relationship with Gordon.
Tensions between the Gordon and Houston families over the relationship were part of the storyline on Lifetime’s short-lived reality show “The Houstons: On Our Own.” It was reported Bobbi Kristina may have suffered from some of the same problems as her parents regarding substance abuse.
Bonus: She got engaged in 2013.
She announced her engagement to Gordon in 2013 and she took to her Facebook page to clear up the misconception that he was her adopted brother, saying her late mother had predicted they would fall in love. She referred to Gordon as her husband but it has been reveled there are no court documents of a marriage between them.
