Gary Terry: Walt Disney World Speedway Crash Victim

36-year-old Gary Terry, a native of Michigan was killed over the weekend in a crash at the Exotic Driving Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway!

Terry –who is a Operations Manager Walt Disney World Speedway –was the passenger of Tavon Watson, 24, both were raiding a Lamborghini during an automotive experience Sunday afternoon.

Reports say, while trying to maneuver through the course, Watson lost control of the car, causing it to leave the racetrack and strike a guardrail. Terry died at the scene and Watson was transported to Celebration Hospital with minor injuries, said a spokesman for Reedy Creek Emergency Services.

Gary, is described by the Exotic Driving Experience family, as a valued team member who will be missed. The Senior operations manager was a professional driving instructor who grew up in St. Joseph, Mich.

According to family and close friends, he moved to Florida about 11 years ago, he began racing at age 15 and had been racing in Michigan for some time.

He was a married man and father of a small child, a girl. His wife is Kathy Terry.

He attended Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

Authorities say both men were wearing lap and shoulder restraints, as well as helmets. A gofundme page has been set up, you can check it here.
