Anna Stuart is the lovely and current wife of veteran actor, James Cromwell. The 77-year-old has appeared in many movies over his decade-long career in Hollywood.
Anna became wife number three a few years ago. Cromwell, famous for his role in ‘Babe’ was previously married to Ann Ulvestad for ten-years before their divorce in 1986. He and his first wife welcomed three children.
In 1986 he married second wife actress, Julie Cobb. However his second marriage also ended in divorce in 2005. He and Anna Stuart, also an actress tied the knot on January 1, 2014.
James born, James Oliver Cromwell on January 27, 1940 in Los Angeles. The son of famous film director John Cromwell and actress Kay Johnson, was raised in Manhattan. He studied acting at Carnegie-Mellon.
James made his acting debut in the 70’s, on the television show The Rockford Files. Other acting credits include The Green Mile, LA Confidential and The Artist. His role in the 1995 film, Babe, brought him additional fame. He also starred in Star Trek: First Contract alongside Patrick Stewart.
James also plays Dr. Arthur Arden in the second season of FX’s American Horror Story. Most recently in 2014, he provided his voice for the character Robert Callaghan in Disney’s Big Hero 6.
He’s been nominated for four Screen Actor Guild Awards, three Emmy Awards, and an Oscar Award.
But third wife, Anna Stuart doesn’t stay far behind. Born in West Virginia on November 1, 1948 –Stuart is known for her work in soap operas. The soap star had never been married before Cromwell.
The ceremony took place at the home of Anna’s “Another World” costar Charles Keating. She revealed the reason of the location was because their romance had started there two years prior.
Anna got her start in acting in the 1970’s soap, The Doctors. Though she is best known for her roles on the hit soaps “Another World” and “All My Children.”
Anna Stuart played the role as the love-to-hate Donna Love on the soap opera “Another World.” In 2002 she joined the cast of All My Children as Greenlee’s mother, Mary Greenlee Smythe, and quickly won over Pine Valley fans.
In 1994 and 1995 she was nominated for an Opera Digest Award –for Outstanding Supporting Actress. The following year she was also nominated for Outstanding Female Scene Stealer.
Before becoming an actress, Anna exercised horses at a horse track. Her acting inspiration is Robert Redford.
