Deven Davis
Deven Davis is the late wife of musician and singer, Jonathan Davis –whom you may know best as the front man of metal band Korn.
Deven was found dead on August 17th, she was 39-years-old. According to reports that same day, Jonathan Davis filed for a restraining order that prohibited Deven from seeing the couple’s children.
Jonathan and Deven tied the knot in 2004 and welcomed two children together. He filed for divorce in October 2016 according to TMZ, citing irreconcilable differences. According to the lead vocalist, his wife struggled with drugs for over two decades revealing she had been to rehab at least six time. He also said in court docs that due to her drug addiction, she neglected their kids and also made her bring complete strangers to their home.
47-year-old Jonathan also added that Deven was in a relationship with a drug dealer who was recently passed out on her living room couch when he brought the kids to her house. Jonathan says he found a heroin pipe and cocaine floating in the toilet bowl and found Deven passed out on the floor upstairs.
Reports about her death say the estranged wife and mom of two had been in a sober home but checked herself out and hadn’t been seen for a week. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
Deven Davis was born Deven Augustina Schuette on April 6, 1979; the Ohio native is often described as a model, clothes designer and philanthropist. She began her career in the adult film industry and later signed a model contract with Ford Model Agency.
Following their 2004 Hawaii wedding, she became the mom of the couple’s two children and also stepmother to Jonathan’s eldest son from a previous relationship. She gave birth to two sons, Pirate Houseman Davis born in 2005 and Zeppelin Davis, born in 2007.
The couple settled in Malibu where she ran her clothing line Somber One -and which was sold at Korn gigs. According to the Mirror, Jonathan and Deven Davis were also involved in their community helping financially when Southern California were hit by mudslides and raging fires.
