Meet Michael Jeffries, the husband of 62-year-old Golden Globe Award-winning actress and singer Pia Zadora.
Jeffries is a former member of the Las Vegas Metro Police force; he met Zadora when he was in charge of a case regarding a man stalking Pia.
The couple currently resides in Vegas with Jordan, her son from second marriage with writer-director Jonathan Kaufer. Pia’s first husband is businessman Meshulam Riklis with whom she had children Kady Zadora, Kristofer Barzie.
Michael and Pia have been married for a decade. We’ll get a closer look to the family of three when they appear in the next episode of Wife Swap.
Jeffries was a deputy sheriff from July 14, 2011, until Oct. 29, 2013. He has built a career in law enforcement dating to 1992, including a stint as deputy coroner in the Clark County Coroner’s Office until joining the Metro force in 1996.
Zadora is not a fan of the outdoors and calls herself a “germaphobe,” regularly venturing out in protective hats, gloves and masks. She has a steady gig performing at Piero’s on the Vegas Strip where Michael and Jordan regularly enjoy lavish steak dinners. According to UPI.
Michael’s step son Jordan, called 911 during an incident in which reported that Zadora had committed domestic violence against him during an argument after Kaufer refused to go to bed at 11 p.m. Jordan is an autistic 18-year-old.
As a result Michael got fired from his job; he filed a suit against Metro for allegedly violating his civil rights by firing him over a standoff at the couple’s home in Summerlin that led to Zadora’s arrest. According to Las Vegas Sun.
Earlier this year in March, Michael’s biological son Michael Jeffries Jr. was convicted of second-degree murder.
