Meet Anthony and Raquel Donofrio
Reality star Angela Riola, better known as “Big Ang” has sadly died. “Big Ang” who was 55-years-old is survived by her two children, son Anthony and daughter, Raquel Donofrio.
Updates say the TV star, lost her battle with cancer. She had been diagnosed with with throat cancer and underwent several surgeries before being given the all clear.
The disease returned in December and had spread to her brain and lungs, according to reports. She died of stage 4 brain and lung cancer and stopped receiving treatments after one year. Sources tell the NY Daily News she was suffering from pneumonia.
Angela Riola first gained recognition after her participation in Mob Wives. She later got her own show titled “Big Ang” which was a spinoff from Mob Wives. She also got another spinoff series called, “Miami Monkey” premiering in 2013. She also released a book entitled Bigger Is Better: Real Life Wisdom from the No-Drama Mama in September 2012.
Big Ang was the owned the bar Drunken Monkey in Staten Island, New York. She owned the joint for seven years.
She was married to Neil Murphy, but it was revealed last year the couple had separated.
Angela was the niece of the late Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi, captain of the Genovese crime family.
Anthony Donofrio appeared in along with his mother and father on the reality TV series. He was known as Anthony “A.J.” D’Onofrio.
Anthony Donofrio (pictured above) used to be a bit of a trouble maker. In 2012 he was busted for dealing cocaine, according to reports he was sentenced to rehab.
Anthony Donofrio turned his ilfe around and now works as a bar tender. He is married to Gabriella Celestino with whom he has children of his own.

Raquel Donofrio (pictured above) appeared on Big Ang’s spin-off shows including Miami Monkey. According to reports, Raquel is the total opposite to her family. She has earned two master degrees. The highly educated Raquel is also the mom of at least one child. Her son is named Sal.
Raquel was born on January 13, 1985 in NY. She has also worked as a seventh grade teacher and is not very fond of being in the spotlight.
Raquel Donofrio has kept her life pretty private, however she was the subject of rumors, saying she had been romantically involved with Mob Wives star Alicia DiMichele’s incarcerated husband, Eddie Garofalo. The rumor however, was never confirmed.
