Keri Russell and her husband of more than six years, carpenter Shane Deary, have called it quits. Sad news when a couple separates, especially when there are children involved.
Apparently they’ve been separated since early summer. According to Keri’s rep, the split is amicable and their main focus is on their children. They have two children together, their son River Russell Deary who is six and their daughter Willa Lou Deary who will be two next month.
Keri and Shane were wed on Valentine’s Day in 2007. Shane Deary was a carpenter who she met through mutual friends. They became engaged in 2006, and married the following year. Keri was expecting their first child at the time. Both were 30, and had been dating for a number of years. Their wedding was an intimate affair, with only a few close friends, and took place in New York in the middle of a snowstorm.
It’s been a long week for Keri, as her apartment was broken into yesterday. Russell, who plays a KGB sleeper agent on the FX series “The Americans,” showed her courage after she was awakened with a start at about 3 a.m. by the burglars’ footsteps on the floorboards of the Hicks St. residence and their muffled talk back and forth, police sources said. She left her basement bedroom and went to the first floor, but when she got there, the intruders were gone — along with her laptop, a necklace, earrings, and a pricey Filson bag, the sources said.
“Everyone is fine,” her rep said at the time. “Keri sends her thanks to the police.”
