Meet Tanya Hyjazi
Tanya Hyjazi is the pretty girlfriend of reality TV star, Austin “Chumlee” Russell. Her man is best known for starring on the popular History program Pawn Stars since its 2009 launch.
For those who have not seen the show, it is set in Las Vegas, Nevada in the famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. It is a family business, run by Richard Harrison also known as Old Man, and Rick’s son Corey Harrison who as better known as Big Hoss. Austin Russell used to work there and was a childhood friend of Big Hoss.
Austin Russell was born September 8, 1982. He was just 21 years old when he was recruited for the first time. He gets his nickname (Chumlee) from a friend’s father after the sidekicks of the Tennessee Tuxedo. Austin duties included work behind-the-counter where he was required to test items, load them and to write tickets for items purchased by customers. However his good heart is what has earned him popularity.
He is also considered to be the target of jokes, according to his bio, part of the reason he isn’t taken seriously is that he constantly begs Corey to buy items that entertain him.
Due to the success of the reality show, Austin started off his own shop where he used to sell vintage items. Later in 2010, Austin sold off half of the company to the Harrisons for efficient supply of goods.
Reports of Austin Russell and Tanya Hyjazi dating began circulating in 2013. That year, the reality star also opted for a healthier lifestyle and lost almost 90 lbs. It was said the dramatic weight loss was triggered by the passing of his father.
Tanya Hyjazi happens to be a chef, so something tells us she might have had something to do with his new diet. Also in 2013, she made a brief appearance in an episode of Pawnstars and the couple was seen out in Las Vegas celebrating her birthday at the The D Hotel. Tanya Hyjazi -who is into tattoos and piercings -also got a breast augmentation, courtesy of Russell.
Tanya Hyjazi is a Lebanese-American, reports say she works as a chef at a Vegas casino, according to her social media, she is a line cook at Stack Restaurant and Bar in Las Vegas.
We are not sure what exactly is going on with the couple these days. Earlier this week, police took Russell into custody on weapons and drug charges, but the rumor is, according to TMZ, the investigation is related to a sexual assault.
