Meet Todd Palin
Todd Palin is the husband of Alaska’s former governor, Sarah Palin. Recent reports indicate 51-year-old Todd was critically injured in a snowmobile crash.
His wife was the first female governor of Alaska, and was also John McCain‘s running mate in the U.S. presidential elections of 2008.
Sarah Louise Heath was born in Idaho but moved to Alaska with her family when she was three months old. She played high school basketball for Wasilla High in the 1982 championship team. Sarah is also a former pageant contestant. She placed second in the Miss Alaska contest of 1984. Palin holds a journalism degree from the University of Idaho.

But the former governor rose to international recognition after Arizona senator, John McCain made her the Republican Party’s first female candidate for vice president. Palin was mocked a number of times due to her perceived lack of experience. Following their loss to Barack Obama and Joe Biden, Palin stayed in the public eye and in a surprise move, she resigned on July 26, 2009, in the middle of her first term as governor, handing power over to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell.
Palin then began a new career as a highly-paid public speaker and Obama critic. She published a memoir, Going Rogue (2009), and starred in her own reality show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, which ran for eight episodes in 2010-11. She also became a paid commentator for Fox News in 2010 until 2013.
She launched her own “channel” for videos in July of 2014.
