Linda Dawn Hadad
Linda Dawn Hadad is a disgraced lawyer from Daytona Beach who is making headlines after she allegedly bonked not one but two inmates!
According to a statement from The Florida Bar, Linda Dawn Hadad has been disbarred effective immediately.
Reports say, Linda Dawn Hadad went as far as having sex with her clients at a jail and used cocaine, crack, ecstasy and other drugs. Can you say, what was she thinking?
According to the Florida Bar, Hadad is described to have engaged in a pattern of misconduct that included illegal drug use and sexual relationships with clients, according to the Florida Bar. She had inappropriate intimate relationships with inmates at the Volusia County jail while representing them, and engaged in inappropriate phone calls, which were routinely recorded by the jail, according to the Bar’s statement.
43-year-old Linda Dawn Hadad, worked as a criminal defense attorney and was also a former assistant public defender. She had been practicing in the state since 2002.
Is not the first time the former lawyer has trouble with the law. According to the NY Daily News, she was arrested in Volusia County five times since 2010. Most recently last August.
Hadad was arrested in August after she fled from Daytona Beach Police when they tried to stop her for an expired tag, a report said. The Sheriff’s Office helicopter was called in to help find her and police used stop sticks to stop her.
Hadad pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended/revoked license and to fleeing/attempting to elude with lights/sirens active. Circuit Judge J. David Walsh adjudicated her guilty on both counts and placed her on drug offender probation for five years. She was also ordered to successfully complete a program at Palm Beach Behavioral Health in Palm Beach County, where she must remain for 90 days.
She pretty much had it coming. Documents show, Linda Dawn Hadad also engaged in phone sex with inmates. During one phone call to the jail, Hadad tried to contact a domestic violence victim on behalf of an inmate who had a no-contact order, the filings said.
