By now you probably heard the tragic news regarding the death of child star Sawyer Sweeten who reports say committed suicide on April 23 at the young age of 19.
Sawyer and his twin brother appeared on TV when they were only babies. He played the on-screen-son of Ray Romano and Patricia Heaton in the CBS hit comedy series “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
Sawyer and his twin brother Sullivan, played Geoffrey and Michael Barone, the twin sons of Raymond and Debra for 139 episodes.
The twins are the real-life children of Timothy Sweeten and Elizabeth Millsap, who’s 23-year-old daughter Madylin Sweeten also appears on the show as the twins older sister, Alexandra “Ally” Barone.
According to Wikipedia The twins and older sister Madylin have at least six other siblings including: Claudia, Maysa, Emma, Guiliana, Elliette and Jaymeson Sweeten.
At some point down the road, Sawyer parents divorced and 46-year-old Elizabeth Millsap Gini appears to have re-married to Jerry Gini, they live in La Canada Flintridge, CA.
While 55-year-old Tim Sweeten lives in Texas and works at Vernor Material & Equipment Co., Inc. He is now married to Nina K. Boaz Sweeten.
Sawyer and Sullivan also played a character in a 2000 episode of Disney Channel’s Even Stevens and shared a small role in the 2002 feature Frank McKlusky, C.I.
According to RadarOnline, Sawyer was visiting his family in Texas, where he is believed to have shot himself on their front porch Thursday.
